Taken from DOA:

While many of us know of Raidens forays into the more techno-influenced style of Drum & Bass with his Offkey imprint, he has also been delving into more tribal and organic sounds, and has set up a new label, Voodoo Music, which dropped its first release (“Baptism Of Fire” / “Danzon”) today. While on a expedition in South America, Raiden was immersed in the musical culture of the region and a new chapter was born. Voodoo Music encompasses organic textures such as traditional percussion, tribal rhythms with Exotica & Dub influences. The core artists are Raiden & Morphy who will be hosting solo work as well as collaborations with a multitude of artists and musicians from a wide variety of backgrounds.

The debut release for the label is the long in-demand tracks from Raiden entitled ‘Baptism Of Fire’ and ‘Danzon’. ‘Baptism Of Fire’ is a brooding track that thrives on holding a sense of cold tension, whilst ‘Danzon’ is a Cuban inspired skank out that goes down the traditional Latin formula and concentrates highly on the rhythms of Central American territory. Talk about some serious sounds.

In his chat with Knowledge, Raiden said a 12″ from himself and Khanage was on the way, but the info we received said that Voodoo #2 was Morphy’s “Shackles” b/w “Indus Valley (With Nasha Experience) “. He also mentioned that he’d be doing a Voodoo album with Morphy – which just sounds like pure excellence to us!

And for those who might be getting scared, don’t be – Offkey and Voodoo will exist in harmony with one another; Offkey is the cold steel of the metropolis, whereas Voodoo will be the unknown of the rainforests and jungles. The ethos of both labels differs greatly yet at the same time are intricately linked. Their new website, www.offkeymusic.eu should be up and running in the near future, so keep it locked!

DOA thread

I may add to this – forthcoming releases from Genotype, Morphy, Khanage, myself and others.
Voodoo has landed!
